victoria is a competitive, data-driven marketer with a passion for research and analysis, calculated engagement strategies, and business development – but it didn’t start that way.

victoria’s main interest was always the film industry, so she rounded out her education with degrees in mass communication, journalism, and photography. meanwhile, she spent her free time creating content for tumblr (it was cool back then), not knowing she was learning organic methods of account engagement and growth. 

after graduating college, victoria took to freelance writing for charlotte publications like the charlotte observer, creative loafing, and charlotte agenda. she started to see the emergence of social media marketing and began posting for the company she worked for. within a few months, she stumbled across a position as a content creator at a digital marketing startup. the position evolved into a role of data analysis, audience development, and engagement strategy. 

over the next few years, victoria entered the world of influencer marketing (specifically the realm of restaurants), working with local and national brands to create robust digital strategies. taking photos of food was an art, and she wanted to perfect it.

the covid years led her to try something new– real estate. though she loved it, she realized she loved growing people’s businesses more. in what can only be described as synchronicity, victoria accepted an opportunity at strategysmith marketing, where she joins the team as the senior marketing manager.
